Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is among a rare breed of politicians who only hold the nations best interests at heart. He is as loyal as they come and has a clean track record. More importantly he is a self-made man and is among the top entrepreneurs of Pakistan.We need people like him to run our country and bring it out from the brink of destruction.
As far as PIA is concerned, i don't think he would accept that position as it would mean driving his own airline into the ground. The only option PIA has now is privatisation. |

| |
There is no link between being a bad politician and a good businessman. So the point you have raised make no sense at all. Most Politicans seem to be really successful in out eyes as they misuse 'power' to use it to their advantage. Politicans like Nawaz Sharif, Benazir and the Chaudhry Brothers are not self- made businessman. They did nothing on their own but inherited everything they have and made alot more mostly through misuse of power and blatant corruption. |

You are right that what is the guarantee that this businessman would be a good politican too? The only hope is that he might bring prosperity or at least make the PIA better with his knowledge. If he doesnt, people have proved that they are bold in this elections, thus, he can then start counting his days. |

Airblue has been recording high profits for quite a period now. Businessmen like him are essential to the nation because they can help the economy with their expertise. If he wins, he should be made incharge of the development. Hopefully, he doesnt steal the funds. :) |
